After being a three sport athlete in high school and never having any problems excelling at any sport or activity, I hit a bottom point in my mid twenties when I was overweight, unhappy, and inactive. I decided to do something about it, so I set a goal to train for a half marathon. Twelve weeks of strict training later, on a chilly and rainy June morning in Milwaukee, WI, I crossed the finish line of my first half marathon (first race ever, as a matter of fact) with a time of 1:47 and an overwhelming feeling of exhilaration and pride. Four half marathons, two full marathons, and six body building competitions later, here I am. Waking up each and every morning with a passion to show people that yes, you can. Whatever your goal or "finish line" is-- you can do it. As one of your Orangetheory Fitness coaches, I will do whatever I can to help you get there and cheer you on along the way!
